Mr. Manaig is a corporate, commercial and Intellectual Property lawyer with 15 years of experience in advising and addressing the legal requirements of multinational and local corporate clients across a vast range of industries including consumer products, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics manufacturing, banking and finance, shipping and ship-management, gaming and recreation, business-process outsourcing and online business, among many others, over a very wide range of corporate and commercial disciplines including structuring and review of licensing, franchising, distributorship and technology transfer arrangements; brand management; consumer protection and product standards; regulation of food, drugs and cosmetics manufacture, importation, distribution and registration, Food and Drug Administration product registration and recall; intellectual property rights protection, enforcement and litigation, Intellectual Property portfolio registration, maintenance and management; data privacy and protection; labor and employment issues; structuring and incorporation or registration of business entities including joint ventures; corporate housekeeping, compliance and filings; and administration, review and management of all kinds of contracts and business agreements. 


In his years of practice, he was able to serve as Chairman, Director and Corporate Secretary for various corporations. In 2009, he was accredited by the Supreme Court of the Philippines as lecturer for International Law in the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education program for Philippine lawyers. He co-authored the Philippine chapter of the Trademark Laws of the World published by the Oceania Publications, and his articles have appeared in various international and local legal publications including Asia Legal Business and Asia Law.
